Arts Council England

Arts Council England champions, develops and invests in artistic and cultural experiences that enrich people's lives. We support a range of activities across the arts, museums and libraries - from theatre to digital art, reading to dance, music to literature, and crafts to collections. Great art and culture inspires us, brings us together and teaches us about ourselves and the world around us. In short, it makes life better. Between 2011 and 2015, we will invest £1.4 billion of public money from government and an estimated £1 billion from the National Lottery to help create these experiences for as many people as possible across the country.

PRS for Music Foundation

Our mission is to stimulate and support the creation and performance of new music throughout the UK and to ensure that this music is enjoyed by a wide audience. Over the past 10 years we have proved ourselves as a significant force in supporting pioneering musical activity. Since March 2000 we have supported over 4,000 new music initiatives to the tune of over £14 million. We do this through open grant schemes which are available to musicians and organisations four times per year and partnership programmes which we lead in response to specific needs and gaps in funding.

Because of our specialist knowledge of the music sector, our support is seen as an indication of quality and innovation. We are also proud to be widely respected as an approachable, adventurous, and straightforward organisation and to have established a strong track record as funder of a broad range of activity - from unsigned band showcases and professional development programmes to music commissions and composer residencies.

VA-GARMENTS

Parters for ILUVLIVE Clothing (Currently T Shirts)

Breaking away from the stereotypical urban trends affiliated amongst our common society, and with both of us growing up in the South/South East of London, our main aim was to produce a brand, that could change perceptions and break barriers of what a modern youth culture, specifically young black youths, felt were socially accepted.

We are inspired simply, by a vision to take a simple menswear garment, and implicate colour, print, cut and form in an experimental and unique way, and give a fresh and innovative alternative to our urban society. VA-Garments ranges from the more commercial urban range of sweaters and t-shirts to the more experimental and expressive tailored menswear and womenswear range.

The vision from the start was to create a lifestyle, to try and embody men and women into the VA (VISUAL ARTISTIC) lifestyle. Making each garment accessible and affordable, we came to an understanding to create visually stimulating garments, making them unique for their cut and construction. The aim was simple, it was to have a unique stamp on the clothing and have that appeal that keeps the customers coming back.

We are continually aiming to be innovative by producing new styles each season for our consumers and alwayscoming out with something new and fresh.
