Tiggs Da Author
At 26 years old, Tiggs has crafted an impressive individuality to his sound, which is as influenced by obscure 60s documentaries as African Jazz, Grime MC Dizzee Rascal and classic Motown acts. His debut EP ‘Glenville Grove’ was released in November last year, and has so far amassed a combined 2.7 million streams on Spotify, and included the irresistibly catchy ‘Swear Down’, which featured South London rapper Yungen. Previous single ‘Run’, featuring Lady Leshurr, featured on the soundtrack for Fifa 16, ITV’s 2015 Rugby World Cup Trailer, Bridget Jones Baby OST, the David Beckham sky sports football season ad, an ad for the new Apple Macbook Pro and the ASDA summer campaign. Tiggs has also appeared alongside Avelino on the phenomenal ‘Ring The Alarm’, taken from the XL Recordings release ‘New Gen’ and has recently featured on the albums of Tinie Tempah, J Hus and Nines.
