Delivering his versatile and soothing debut EP, multi talented singer-songwriter, and producer Anjelo Disons, has unveiled the soulful sound of ‘For The Love.’
The production follows his silky recent single ‘Sweet Love’, with the rising talent teaming up with a vast array of names across the EP, including Jay Wilcox, Intalekt, Lorenz Okello, Alrie, and sax player Kaidi Akinnibi (Tom Misch).
Introducing the release, ‘The Love’, features vocals of all involved on the EP including featured artists, management and production answering Anjelo’s ever-eternal question of What is Love?, over the sounds of a blissful early morning walk home from the studio. The track goes on to embrace sumptuous piano patterns, with the South Londoner showcasing his skills as an instrumentalist, with the production featuring the silky keys of Lorenz Okello, whom can be heard throughout the EP.
Offering crisp percussive tones on ‘Angels’ and EP titled ‘For The Love’ (feat Hamzaa), Anjelo rounds off the EP with the jazz-inspired ‘Hold On’, a rich embodiment of his rhythmic sounds. Anjelo’s refreshing style undeniably puts the listener in the front seat, striking them note after note with a voice that allows both the vulnerability and strength it possesses to pierce through - accompanied by the chords of his very poetic and lyrical abilities and the rawness he brings forth in his music that is honest and reflective of his world.
The release of ‘For The Love’ marks an exciting new chapter in the career of Anjelo, who has previously caught the eye - and ear - with smooth jazz-influenced productions ‘Love Don’t Come Easy’ (supported by Craig Charles on BBC Radio 2), and ‘Stay The Night’ (feat Kali Claire), with the latter receiving a wealth of support across BBC Radio 1xtra.
Anjelo Dison’s unique style continues to cement his status as an innovative and dynamic performer, with his ‘For The Love’ EP out now.
