UK rapper Hardy Caprio releases the video for his collaboration with Tion Wayne, Cmon, today.
Produced by Cee Figz and Call Me The Kid, Cmon was premiered earlier this week by Mista Jam as his Jam Hot record on Radio 1Xtra. Release independently via A2I/ Bear Records, it is available to download and stream across all platforms now.
The video for Cmon, premiered by GRM Daily, was shot in Thailand and directed by Call Me The Kid and Simon Aukes.
Hardy Caprio X Tion Wayne C'Mon, follows Hardy's recently released Super Soaker and the formidable Unsigned (ft. One Acen), which has passed the 150,000 sales mark after racking up over 20 million combined streams (including 10 million + on Spotify alone) and receiving heavy rotation from Radio 1 (where it was playlisted) and Capital Xtra.
Regarded as the next-in-line to fly the flag for Croydon, (from where Stormzy, Section Boys and Krept & Konan also hail), Hardy Caprio has quickly proven why he's worthy of this title by gate-crashing and setting his own tone in the UK Grime, Rap and Garage scene.
Earmarked as the 'next to blow' by the likes of Crack, Link Up TV, RWD, Music Week, Colors berlin and MTV (to name a few), Hardy Caprio first started making noise with his SBTV Warm-Up session freestyling over Tinie Tempah's Wifey Riddim. The 2017 back to back release of Caprio's Hardy Season EP and his Hollywood EP, further cemented his reputation as the MC to watch in the industry, while also building a substantial fan-base ahead of him selling out his first headline show (at Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen, London in April) within minutes of being announced and being nominated for Best Breakthrough Act at the upcoming GRMDaily Rated Awards
Cmon is the third track to be released from Hardy Caprio's forthcoming EP, With My Eyez Close, which will also feature Super Soaker and Unsigned and is due out later this year.
