The ILUVLIVE Industry Special is an opportunity for the acts we feel were the strongest performers from the previous 12 months to perform again for an invited industry audience. We create a long list of ten acts, which is then open to public voting for a month. The two acts with the most votes are offered a slot at the show with another three selected by the iluvlive team. The ILUVLIVE Industry Special will take place on Monday 9th October 2017. The aim of the event is to help acts further along the path to success.

J & THE REST
J & The Rest are the result of a series of happy musical coincidences. Front man, Jamal was raised in a musical family but never fully considered a career as a vocalist. However, while he studied music technology at Leeds Met he met friends John and Louis. The three had a musical chemistry, however, something was missing and later on met their drummer, Ricky. As they build towards the release of their heavily anticipated debut EP, ‘4 a.m. Again’, they tease the release with the slick electro-R’n’B vibes of the title track. With Jamal’s soulful vocals showing echoes of D’Angelo and Maxwell married against a hypnotic blend of grooves, it is a flawless and addictive introduction to the UK’s next big thing. The next single to be released from the EP is ‘Kisses On The Mirror’, which is out now across all digital platforms.
