'How To Feel', which was premiered via Clash Music, follows quickly after Laolu's recent single 'All In Me' which was backed by ourselves at ILUVLUVE, The Line of Best Fit, Noctis Magazine and Earmilk among others. Both records are comeback tracks for Laolu, after taking time away from music for nearly three years, due to her battles with depression.
Before having to step away, Laolu had been working with Katy B and Little Simz, and opening for the likes of Chip, Ghetts and Ms Dynamite. She had also been collaborating with Blinkie (Major Lazer, Wretch 32, Lana Del Rey), P2J (Stormzy, Tinie Tempah, Chris Brown) and J Warner (Kojey Radical, SG Lewis).
With new single 'How To Feel', Laolu delivers an excellently crafted sultry R&B jam, which is a slightly brighter affair than the darker themes on 'All In Me', but Laolu still keeps the moody and atmospheric feel underpinning her new music, while brilliantly showcases her gripping vocals and honest songwriting.
