Luton born Ozone representing artist JRiley drops his debut project 'Life of Riley'. His sense of melodic rap seems well represented by fellow Luton rappers Nafe Smallz & Young Kye and all three of them are firing with tales of street life, relationship struggles and living live to the fullest. 'Life of Riley' clearly heavily influenced by trap and afro beat and shows moments of really quality with 'Red Rum' and 'Whip Game' being instant club bangers. 'Redemption' is more introspective and JRiley shows a great sense of song writing ability in tunes like this. Even the hook on 'Do The Road' is as catch as they come. The Drake influence in this project is apparent but JRiley's songwriting and delivery is strong enough for it merely just be a influence and not him trying to be Drake. Beat wise this project is particularly strong with my head nodding throughout the whole project. This will definitely be banging out the office speakers for a while.
