He has established himself as a lynchpin in the grime scene; a gatekeeper via Kiss FM’s flagship grime show #KissGrime and guaranteed to be in the top 3 of any grime producer poll; when a Rude Kid riddim drops, be ready for a ‘Monster’.

Straight off the back of his BBC Radio 1Xtra A-listed single ‘Banger After Banger’ featuring Ghetts, Rude Kid releases the 6-track instrumental E.P ‘Monsters’, mastered at Relentless No. 5 and packed full of some of grime’s most recent smashes including Wiley’s ‘Joe Bloggs’ and the instrumental to ‘Banger After Banger’ itself. Alongside sits a selection of previously unheard gold all aptly named with titles such as ‘Bloody Hell’, Brain Freeze’, ‘Galaxy’ and ‘Master System’. Taking on the spectrum of grime, the beats range from the dark, sinister and merky to the obscure and sci-fi inspired, from the futuristic and circus synths to the old-school computer game classics and all the way back to the unquestionable hype and raw energy of the UK’s stand out sound.

Powered by Relentless to represent the UK at SXSW earlier in the year, Rude Kid has been documented widely in recent months for his attributions to the last decade of the genre, as seen in his in-depth interview with Complex - http://uk.complex.com/music/2017/03/rude-kid-interview and further features across Noisey, Clash Music and beyond. Playing out at Glastonbury, Wireless and internationally, the DJ & producer has also been responsible for putting his grime twist on official remixes for artists including Chase & Status, J Hus, Wilkinson, Gorgon City and Laura Mvula, allowing the sound to infiltrate to new ears and making him one of the most sought after producers for grime.

Ever the advocate for the sound, Rude Kid opens up his lab to let loose these 6 ‘Monsters’ and allow free reign over his exceptional work.
