Southchurch drop club inspired new visuals for their indie-garage anthem ‘Fading’
Tipped as a Sound of 2018 by BBC Introducing Essex and nominated as Best Electronic Act 2018 at the Unsigned Music Awards, Southend four-piece Southchurch has released their new single ‘Fading’. Having been featured as Record Of The Day (5th April), the track entered UK Club Charts at No. 30 after it’s official release 6th April. Further support has come from Clash who premiered the video last week.
Produced by Livingstone Brown (Maxi Priest), the track blends garage grooves with soaring synth melodies and haunting vocals reminiscent of Becky Hill and Jess Glynne in this upbeat dancefloor banger.
The track is already gaining traction in clubs having just entered the Upfront Club charts at No. 30 and has received early radio plays at BBC Introducing Essex. Previous singles have received radio support at Kiss, Capital Xtra and BBC Essex, whilst their track M.F.D.S.G was used as part of an advertisement by Mastercard for The Brits Are Coming 2018.
