Denyher Joins The Artist Development Programme 2022

ILUVLIVE are excited to announce Denyher (pronounced Deny-her) as the latest act to join their artist development programme. The first female rapper to join the programme since its inception in 2015, Denyher was chosen from a record-breaking 800 applicants. With her intelligent lyricism and captivating flow, Denyher is clearly an artist on the rise. She impressed D Double E when she performed on the Youtube competition series, CORD’s UpNext winning her round. She also participated in Link Up TV’s documentary ‘Terms & Conditions: Try & Stop Me’, a short film focusing on women's experiences in the rap scene.

Raised in East London, Denyher’s music depicts the realities of growing up as a black female. She is influenced by the likes of Drake & Lauryn Hill but also draws from her Caribbean heritage. The iluvlive team looks forward to helping Denyher on her journey over the next 12 months.

Denyher says; “I am excited to be embarking on this journey with Iluvlive on the artist development program. I am looking forward to what we will achieve together, and the knowledge I will gain from this experience”

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

The iluvlive Artist Development Programme was launched in 2013 and was born out of a desire to help further acts’ careers via our platforms and networks. Each year, we select two acts and offer our expertise and guidance over a 12-month period.

We allocate a budget of £5000 for each participant to spend on what we call hard costs such as mixing, mastering, PR, plugging, tour support, videos etc. But most of the value we offer comes from the vast expertise we have as a team and from our ability to utilise our contacts to your benefit. Our team includes Rachael Bee (CEO), Victor Redwood-Sawyerr (MD), and Lauren Louise Powell (Marketing Manager) who collectively have over 50 years of music industry experience.

We are proud to have supported artists including Izzy Bizu, Emmavie, Morgan Munroe, Jords, Blizzard, Tobi Sunmola, Anjelo Disons, Laura White and Lylo Gold.
