Job Title:  Programmes Assistant

Hours: 10- 6 pm. 5 days a week role working from our office at Pop Brixton 

Remuneration: £22,000 - £25,000 depending on experience

We are seeking a self-starter who will work with our General Manager to support artists from our artist development roster, work across events and help with general office tasks.  Being a small company managing many different strands, the applicant should be well versed in adapting themselves to multiple tasks which require varying skill sets.

Essential 

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written 

  • Highly motivated

  • Flexible, hardworking and enthusiastic with a positive attitude 

  • Passionate about the music we support

  • Excellent attention to detail 

  • Excellent multi-tasker

  • Quick to learn and adapt as required 

  • Excellent IT skills including a good knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Digitally and tech-savvy 

  • Great proofreader 

Desirable 

  • Office experience 

  • Music industry/media experience 

  • Editing skills within Canva, Youtube and PowerPoint/keynote

  • Film and edit skills

  • Dedicated, dependable team player with excellent communication skills

  • Great presentational skills to convey information and results clearly

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and balance priorities

  • Excellent time management, organisational skills and strong attention to detail

  • Keen interest and thorough understanding of the current musical & cultural landscape

  • An Idiosyncratic creative vision and a desire to seek fresh approach
