60-second open mic

We are inviting five talented individuals to take centre stage and showcase their talent for 60 seconds each, using either one of these iconic instrumentals.

The winner will be chosen based on crowd participation and will be rewarded with having their song added to our much-coveted ‘Who Will Discover’ playlist. The winner will also receive a pair of tickets to our next show.

Host

Fee Mak is a London-based presenter, best known as the host of BBC Radio 1Xtra's Sunday Breakfast show. She has hosted major events like the BBC Bitesize Tour, AIM Awards, MOBOs, and London Spirit at The Hundred.

Fee has also interviewed notable figures across platforms such as BBC Radio 1Xtra, KISS TV, and 4Music.

Passionate about dance, Fee has led events like Red Bull BC One UK Cypher and the UK Hip Hop Dance Championships. A former ballet performer, she was a junior associate at The Royal Ballet School and starred in the West End musical Billy Elliot.

DJ

Pharaoh is a multi-genre DJ and national radio broadcaster for the world-famous BBC Radio 1Xtra. He has showcased his talents in various countries, including Ibiza, Spain, Portugal, and the Netherlands.

Pharaoh has graced the stages of renowned venues like Fabric, Electric Brixton, KOKO, Soho House (White City & Shoreditch), Ministry of Sound, and Somerset House. 

His portfolio includes collaborations with corporate giants Amazon, ITV, Nike, Apple, NFL, Adidas, Spotify, and many more.

His broadcasting career has allowed him to work alongside some of the world's biggest stars, including Sean Paul, Mo Gilligan, Ishowspeed, Raheem Sterling, Swizz Beats, Professor Green, Masego, and more.

Notting Hill Carnival, Rototom Fest, Wireless, and City Splash are a few major events where he has left his mark.


Mantha

Mantha is a London-based singer, songwriter, and dancer whose affinity for music led to the discovery of her own sound. The 24-year-old artist grew up surrounded by various expressive outlets, from creative literacy and poetry to dance movement. Artistic influences, namely D’Angelo, Cleo Sol, Kehlani, and Victoria Monét, resonate with Mantha’s pen style and alternate R&B sound.

Mya K

Mya K is a rising songstress from South London; she began her music career in Nigeria at just ten years old. Despite her young age, she quickly made waves, winning Best Video by a Minor at the Nigerian Music Video Awards in 2014. After honing her skills at the prestigious Brit School, Mya K has continued to impress, earning features on BBC Radio 1, Apple Music Radio, and top publications like Complex and Wonderland. With her debut EP now out, Mya K is an artist on the rise, blending genres and captivating audiences worldwide.

Nolais

Nolais, a 23-year-old artist from North West London, is making his mark with a distinctive blend of contemporary R&B. As a self-taught producer and musician, he began creating music during the pandemic in 2021, turning his bedroom into a studio and transforming his poetry into songs. 

Drawing inspiration from artists like Gabzy, Odeal, and Bryson Tiller, Nolais skillfully combines smooth, captivating melodies with intricate beats, resulting in a sound that's both addictive and uniquely his own. His music reflects a deep passion and creativity that is quickly gaining attention.

Osas

Osas, a talented artist hailing from the vibrant streets of South East London, boasts a rich heritage with Nigerian roots tracing back to Benin City in Edo State. Immersed in the rhythms of Afrobeats and the soulful melodies of R&B, Osas began honing his musical prowess from an early age, encouraged by his family to share his gift with the world.

Starting his journey on SoundCloud, Osas quickly gained traction, expanding his reach to encompass listeners from across the globe. With his music serving as a fusion of cultural influences, he intricately weaves together his velvety vocals, polished flow, and deeply resonant lyrics, creating a sonic tapestry that captivates audiences. With a vision to redefine the boundaries of contemporary music, Osas stands poised to make an indelible mark on the industry, offering a fresh perspective and a soul-stirring experience for all who lend an ear to his artistry.
