We are inviting five talented individuals to take centre stage and showcase their talent for 60 seconds each, using either one of these two iconic instrumentals.

The winner will be chosen based on crowd participation and will be rewarded with having their song added to our much-coveted ‘Who Will Discover’ playlist. The winner will also receive a pair of tickets to our next show.

DJ Ace, a renowned figure in the UK's R&B scene, has earned a Sony Gold Award for his work on Radio 1Xtra and is widely respected as a MOBO host, podcaster, and presenter. His dedication to nurturing emerging talent has significantly contributed to the revitalisation of UK R&B. 

As one of the UK's most experienced and in-demand DJs, Ace's enthusiasm for R&B has been a driving force behind the genre's resurgence.

In February 2023, he expanded his influence by establishing Everything RNB (ERNB), an affiliate of The RecordBox, which he founded in 2016. 

ERNB serves as a dynamic platform and community aimed at promoting UK R&B music and artists, with a mission to elevate the presence of R&B on a global scale.

Marking a new chapter in his illustrious career, Ace recently concluded his 21-year tenure at BBC Radio 1Xtra. He has now joined Kiss FM, where he hosts a new R&B show every Sunday at 9pm to the station's 2.3 million listeners. This two-hour segment promises to be the prime spot for listeners to enjoy the latest R&B tracks, beloved KISSTORY hits, and to engage with the genre's most exciting guests.

Pharaoh is a multi-genre DJ and national radio broadcaster for the world-famous BBC Radio 1Xtra. He has showcased his talents in various countries, including Ibiza, Spain, Portugal, and the Netherlands.

Pharaoh has graced the stages of renowned venues like Fabric, Electric Brixton, KOKO, Soho House (White City & Shoreditch), Ministry of Sound, and Somerset House. 

His portfolio includes collaborations with corporate giants Amazon, ITV, Nike, Apple, NFL, Adidas, Spotify, and many more.

His broadcasting career has allowed him to work alongside some of the world's biggest stars, including Sean Paul, Mo Gilligan, Ishowspeed, Raheem Sterling, Swizz Beats, Professor Green, Masego, and more.

Notting Hill Carnival, Rototom Fest, Wireless, and City Splash are a few major events where he has left his mark.


Bea Anderson

Inspired by artists such as H.E.R, Lauryn Hill and Solange, Bea Anderson is a London based R&B artist who combines contemporary R&B and Soul with a timeless quality that captivates audiences. As an independent artist, she navigates the industry with a skilled balance of business acumen and artistry. Her latest releases have gained significant attention and support, including airplay on BBC Radio 1Xtra and features on notable platforms. Additionally, Bea has been recognised as part of MOBO's Unsung Class of 2023, further solidifying her position as a vanguard R&B artist.

Morgan Munroe

Morgan Munroe is an award winning R&B artist whose musical brilliance extends beyond recordings. Witnessing her on stage is an experience in itself. The fusion of her captivating stage presence, remarkable vocal abilities, and engaging storytelling creates an electric atmosphere that leaves audiences entranced. With 39K monthly Spotify listeners, Morgan's artistry stands as a testament to her ability to challenge norms and captivate audiences with narratives that resonate universally. 

Karl Benjamin

West London based singer Karl Benjamin, blends soulful melodies that captivate audiences. His debut EP, D.R.I.S.T (2021), featuring the hit track "Moon," garnered millions of streams and praise from BBC 1Xtra’s Nadia Jae and DJ Ace. In Summer 2022, Karl supported multi-platinum artist Tinashe on her European tour. His fashion endeavours include collaborations with Levi’s, Zara, and Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear of God x ESSENTIALS campaign. Karl won Best R&B Act & Best Newcomer at the 19th Annual Urban Music Awards in 2023.

Raheaven

Raheaven is known for her angelic R&B tones that gracefully deliver her strikingly candid lyrics. Raised in North London by Eritrean parents with their own passion for music, Raheaven has been surrounded by an eclectic music scene from a young age. Her Eritrean heritage and love of classic R&B combine to create effortlessly melodic riffs and runs that weave into catchy hooks on tracks influenced by a range of genres. Early in career, Raheaven collaborated with the likes of Kojey Radical and Jay Prince. She has also supported artists such as Bellah and Dora Jar. Growing up, singers like Jazmine Sullivan and Amy Winehouse inspired Raheaven’s pursuit of vocal mastery. Artists like Frank Ocean and SZA inspired Raheaven to find her own uniquely alternative sound rooted in R&B.
