Maxsta - Off To Work
Following on from his huge self-produced single ‘Born On Your Own’ ft Jme and ‘Badmanism’, East London’s Maxsta winds the tempo down with new track ‘Off To Work’, out today via Caroline International.
Taking inspiration from his own relatable experiences, Maxsta’s passionate lyrical flow on ‘Off To Work’ encourages people to keep driving for success and to not let distractions get in the way from their goals and dreams. It’s a stripped-down production, blending stuttering beats and mellow electric piano chords. ‘Off To Work' is lifted from his upcoming highly anticipated self-produced mixtape ‘Maxtape 2’.
On the track, Maxsta comments “off to work is about the everyday struggles of the new millenial and those older! its about getting to work and listening to that strange weird feeling in your stomach that tells you as long as you work everything will work itself out and your dreams can come true”.
Previous single ‘Born On Your Own’ featuring Jme premiered on DJ Target’s BBC 1Xtra radio show – the track also gained support from Radio 1, Capital Xtra, Rinse FM and featured in Spotify’s ‘New Music Friday’. The epic ‘Born On Your Own’ video premiered on Apple Music and was then released via GRM Daily.
