#NewMusic | Kano - Can't hold we down (ft. Popcaan)

Kano dropped a two part visual for ‘Can’t hold we down’ featuring Popcaan and we’re fascinated!

Episode One shows him and his mum looking at old photos and videos of going to Jamaica when he was younger and explaining where his passion for music came from. There were also inserts of records he collected when he was younger which gave the cinematography a Spike Lee feel. It was an interesting and tender insight into his life especially as even though he is a high profile musician, he’s always managed to stay very private.

Episode Two is a continuation with the entrance of Popcaan and includes the new song ‘Can’t hold we down’ as they prep fried fish. In the end scenes, Giggs, Ghetts and Lethal Bizzle make appearances as they plus family and friends sit down to eat.

The song itself has an infectious beat and Kano’s bars are flawless.
