London-based and fast-rising Afrobeats artist Nizzy had released his first single of 2019 ’Properly’ which is out now on YouTube.   

As a lead single for his forthcoming sophomore EP, it is genre-fusing Afrobeats at its best, with excellent dancehall and R&B leanings. The track itself also comes on the back of recent support for Nizzy from the likes of BBC 1Xtra, MTV Base, Capital Xtra, Red Bull Music, GRM Daily, Link Up TV and Earmilk, among others, and the video was premiered by Complex.

The video for 'Properly' was directed by Director Q, who has also worked with Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy and Kojo Funds. The result is a lush and vibrant visual affair centred around black beauty and black love.
