A few years ago we booked Joy Crookes to perform at iluvlive and her progression has been an incredible. She has dropped some great music and has become some what of a brand darling and rapidly reached high numbers on social media in her bid for global domination while producing a mesh of blues, soul and jazz with a modern twist.

Her latest offering is a cover of Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Yah / Elements’. Accompanied by a visual as quirky and slapdash as Joy herself she turns Kendrick’s hard hitting hip hop track into a mellow, french synth, jazz jam. You can view Joy jamming out with some young musicians before taking a dip in the pool. Question is, does she make it look sexy?
