Bawo joins our Artist Development Programme

We’re pleased to announce Bawo as our newest act to join our artist development programme. The iluvlive team combined with our Board Of Directors had to narrow down over 300 applicants in this competitive round. With his intelligent lyricism, strong identity and clear vision, Bawo is clearly an artist on the rise, we are excited to help him elevate in the next 18 months.

Bawo says “I’m looking forward to working with iluvlive over the upcoming months and benefitting from the experience and help of the programme mentors to grow. Having worked with successful artists in the past making music of a similar origin, their history and knowledge will be valuable to what I’m trying to do.”

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

The iluvlive Artist Development Programme was launched in 2013 and was born out of a desire to help further acts’ careers via our platforms and networks. Each year, we select two acts and offer our expertise and guidance over an 18-month period.

We allocate a budget of £5000 for each participant to spend on what we call hard costs such as mixing, mastering, PR, plugging, tour support, videos etc. But most of the value we offer comes from the vast expertise we have as a team and from our ability to utilise our contacts to your benefit. Our team includes Rachael Bee (CEO), Victor Redwood-Sawyerr (MD), John Hendrickse (GM) and Lauren Louise Powell (Marketing Manager) who collectively have over 50 years of music industry experience.

We are proud to have supported artists including Izzy Bizu, Emmavie, Morgan Munroe, Jords, Blizzard, Tobi Sunmola, Anjelo Disons, Laura White and Lylo Gold.
