ILUVLIVE is looking for an Event Manager

Job Title: Event Manager

Hours: 10- 6pm. 5 days a week role (currently one day working from home)

Remuneration: £20 -25K (upper limit will be for those with more experience)

ILUVLIVE is a live music and artist development platform. We are a Not For Profit National Portfolio Organisation funded by Arts Council England and have been operating since 2004. Initially, a London based showcase, we supported Ed Sheeran, Jessie J, Tinie Tempah, Emeli Sande, Chip, Wretch 32, Ray Blk, Izzy Bizu Ella Mai, Lady Leshurr, Little Simz and Plan B to name but a few often on numerous occasions and years before they were signed. We currently run 30+ events a year across 4 -5 UK cities offering six events in London, Manchester and Birmingham and a range of iluvlive presents shows. Alongside this, we run an artist development programme, have a small record label and manage Izzy Bizu and Emmavie.

We are looking for an Event Manager to ensure the smooth running of all our events. You will be working Monday to Thursday from 10pm- 6pm at our Tulse Hill office with Friday as a work from home day. Overtime is required on event days with a later start the following day. Travel to regional events will be required and as small team covering a lot, you may be asked to cover other areas from time to time.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Booking Venue’s

  • Sourcing and Booking artist’s

  • Liaising with our regional promoters and partners

  • Booking DJ, Host, Door Staff, for event nights.

  • Ensuring events are listed on website, Facebook, bands in town and ticketweb.

  • Press and industry mailout for every event

  • Managing quality of artist biographies

  • Ensuring diary is up to date

  • Local Press mailout for regional events

  • Ensuring venue has PR, artwork and artist info for each event

  • Artist liaison/ Point of contact

  • Liaising with house band

  • Managing event track list, release forms and surveys

  • Stage management

  • Managing social networking at regional events and live stream where

    possible

  • Managing cash and complete cash invoices at events

  • Completing P&L’s

  • Liaising with Social Media Assistant on online promo schedule for each event

Essential

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Highly motivated

  • Flexible, hard working and enthusiastic with a positive attitude

  • Passionate about music and events

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent multi tasker

  • Quick to learn and adapt as required

  • Excellent IT skills including a good knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Digitally and tech savvy

  • Experience with Photoshop (able to edit artwork and create simple banners)

  • Able to make simple moving digital assets

  • Great proof reader

Desirable

  • Events experience

  • Office experience

  • Music industry / media experience

  • Able to use final cut pro

Wages 20,000 -£25,000 per annum depending on experience and age.
