#NEWMUSIC | Arlo Parks - Creep

“ ‘Creep’ is a simultaneously delicate and brutal exploration of inner turmoil and human relationships. This song has acted as a refuge for me, during times of self-reflection and low mood, for many years and Radiohead as a band has deeply influenced my music.”

South London singer and poet Arlo Parks first caught attention with 2018 track ‘Cola’ and her fans have been riding the wave of her mellow voice and story telling lyrics every since.

Fast forward to 2020 and she’s covering Radiohead’s most iconic tune ‘Creep’ for new short film ‘Shy Radicals’ by Tom Dream to be released later this year. The cover has given a new, different feel to the song. Radiohead covered the indie, angsty feel, Arlo’s version feels stripped back and vulnerable allowing listeners to really connect with the lyrics. Very moving.

We have no doubt that this track will be a hit on the film and we’re excited to see what she creates next.
